PAF features are available to all QTM users with a limitation of analysis types (see “Overview of analyses” on page 11) (> QTM 2.17). If you are interested in one the packages or want to buy a license, please contact contrast to this, with the Open Project Automation Framework the users can build and modify their own PAF analysis package.

These are ready-to-use analysis packages, for more information see > Software > Project automation framework. Qualisys provides various modules, for example for gait analysis or different sports. When Visual3D is used for all biomechanical calculations, it still maintains flexibility as events, models, report templates or any other component of the analysis can be modified within Visual3D when needed. The typical application is shown in the following figure. This saves time and ensures that data is collected in processed in a consistent way.
